Emma Kaje: Hopkinsville, KY, United States; The first 18 years of my life were spent in a small coal mining community in eastern Kentucky. After graduation from high school I married my high school sweetheart and he joined the army and after basic training was assigned to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. We moved to Hopkinsville Kentucky near Fort Campbell army base. My dream of attending med school dissolved in the face of what I felt was true love. I did move on with a degree in nursing from the local community college. I have remained in the nursing profession for 33 years now and have enjoyed working in various fields of nursing. My son and greatest achievement has followed in foot steps and graduated last year from the same nursing program I attended. Due to moving away from family and friends my addiction to reading grew even stronger. It started in grade school with The Little House series and grew from there. I continue to love to read all types of work but my favorite is romantic suspense. I also love putterin in gardening or as my son proclaims 'playing in the dirt.
